Truth be told, as I have been seriously ignoring this blog... I really just dont wa nt to fight with my computer.. which now technically I cant as it has about caput completely... to the point of IF I want to load pictures on it.. I have to thru the USB on my Camera.. upload the pics.. copy to a CD and then move on to Tim's laptop to load them onto lightroom and Photoshop... The GOOD news is.. Thankfully, my Darling husband can order me a computer thru his work.. and is in the process of doing so...Hopefully that means in a week or 2.. I will be more willing to upload pictures here, FB, and Myspace.. That is my story ;) Nothing to extreme.. Just computer issues, which in turn I do what is necessary ( ie. process) and the extra is fluff that I dont make time for ;)

On the homefront tho.. Life is GOOD ;)

Wyatt will be out of school in a MONTH.. He will be an official 2nd grader.. Insane. He just turned 7. April 27th ;) We celebrated by taking him and the kids to the Seattle Aquarium the following weekend ;) They had a blast.. and yes, I have 450ish pictures from the day ;) Mostly bc these days I dont get alot of "creative" camera time.. so when I can splurge, I do ;)

Natalie will be a Kindergartener this fall.. I swear people look at me funny when they ask her if she is in school and then she says no.. Yes, I know she looks older than 5. Yes, most 5 year olds are in Kindergarten.. Im sorry, She has a late Birthday. She is more than capable of being in Kindergarten now, but unfortunately, I do not make the rules ;) On a more serious note. The girl is BEYOND ready to start school.. She is verbally counting down the days.

Jacob has lost most of his babiness. Bittersweet. He will be 4 in July and is testing his independence ;) The kid cracks me up tho.. He is definately the little comedian in our family ;) I am going to enjoy our "Mommy and Me" time next fall when the other 2 are in school ;)

Other than that.. Between, school, church, kid stuff, and working.. life is pretty busy these days. I am looking forward to the warmer weather.. and exploring some of the lakes around here and hopefully get some camping in.. but apparently some of my family around here "doesnt camp " lol.. ahem.. Im on a mission to change that ;)

Happy Halloween.. The kids were exhausted by the time we left to go Trick or Treating ;) But the had a great time! Nat got a hat from my grandmother which she added to her costume halfway thru the night..

Tim was "supposed" to wear his costume out to the concert last night. .but had enough after 3 hours out with the kiddo's..

Anyways.. FUN, FUN.. it was fun to dress up with the kids this year.. I dont know if we will be doing it again next year tho ;)

here are 7 "quirky" facts about me:

1. I have a horribly sensitive nose.. smells consume me and I cant stand bad odors..it is one thing that i would love to not be so overpowering.

2. I snore.. yes, most often than not, I do.. its genetic.. and as I am getting older the worse it is getting..

3. I am not pretty.. I am cute in a dorky way, but by far will never be beautiful in the looks department. . I am ok with that. I have learned to accept myself for who I am ;)

4. I love to sing.. I am always singing around my house or in the car.. I find it very soothing. Often when I am in a bad mood i will blare the radio and sing at the top of my lungs.. I have been known to make up silly songs with my kids about things that we are doing.. Dork, yes, I know ;)

5. I cant scrap.. my scraproom is still totally unorganized and I cant scrap.. I havea mental block because I dont know where everything is, and I dont want to dig thru my stuff that I have put away to find it.. So I dont. I keep telling myself that I need to organize my stuff.. but that costs money,which I dont have to spend on scrap organizing stuff right now.. so that is that.
6. my feet have gotten one size bigger since I have had children .

7. I use visine almost daily.. if I dont my eyes get all red and blodshot..and no, I dont use illegal drugs.. just the way it is ;)

My Natalie has been fascinated with Catterpillars lately. To the point where she has successfully killed a few of them.. Tim came home today with a bug catcher for her to keep her new finds in, in hopes of keeping them alive alot longer. We took a trip to walmart this afternoon and she asked if she could get a magnifying glass so she could find all the bugs and caterpillars.. I couldnt say no ;) She also asked me to take a picture of her looking in her magnifying glass which in itself is a miracle.. this girl NEVER wants me to take her picture ;) Anyways, I put them up on a slideshow. Sigh!! I cant believe how quickly this year has flown by. It doesnt seem like we had much of a summer.. last week, I would've said it was over and fall was here, but God has graced us with a few more hot days!!

What is up people? I have been so disconnected from the internet world for almost 6 months.. hopefully, that will end soon. As bad as this is going to sound.. it hasnt been terrible. But I do miss it;) What is new in my little world?? WELL.. Tim started his job at the VA on Monday!! BIG YEAH there..

Wyatt.. .turns 5 tomorrow!! YIKES!! I get to register him for kindergarten next week..

Other than that.. Spring is finally here.. so TONS of yard work to be done.

This week has been crazy. I have been helping my parents and a bunch of other people with the sound for an Alumni Variety show that they are putting on this weekend.. Its amazing what one can learn to do in a few short days.

I ran into my old Science teacher tonight. He is now the principal of the school that we were at tonite. It was good to see him.

Sleepover, New Job and other Happenings...

So here I am spending the night at my good friend LD's house... why? well, its been snowing/sleeting all afternoon. So Tim decided he didnt want me driving home with the roads all ick ;) Tis okay ;) I got a new haircut and color ;) Lookin' pretty sassy, if I do say so ;)

On to the BIG NEWS!!! TIM GOT A JOB!! Thank the Lord.. and believe me, I have been thanking him since the phone call at 830am yesterday morning.. He is starting on the 16th at the VA hospital. He is supposed to go to Arkansas in May for 5 weeks of training.. Im sure he is totally looking forward to going back to work ;)

As for me. I am going to stay with the kids and do some part time work taking pictures ;)

Wyatt is turning the BIG 5 at the end of this month. We bought him a new bike ;) He was So THRILLED to ride it last night ;) (how could we not give it to him early?)

The kids got weighed in yesterday at the WIC office... Natalie (3.5) weighed in at a whoppin' 30.5 lbs. Jacob ( 1.5) weighed in at a 27 lbs.. I give it 6 months and he is totally going to pass her... she is still a good 6 inches taller than him..

Other than that.. not too much is new.. lookin' forward to spring. Cant wait for the flowers to start blooming. I will post some pics in a bit!! Smooches!

Tuesday.. missing the weekend..

So this past weekend, I actually got to just stay home. No major plans, just got to spend time with the kids and chill. Yes, I do love being busy most days, but there is only so much I can take before Im ready to just take a breath.
So nothing to spectacular for us this weekend. Just enjoyed the presence of our little family.
I LOVE the sound of laughter, and realizing that even if things arent the way you think they should be, knowing that your kids are happy, regardless of the life around them, that in itself makes it all better. Perfect example. Friday Evening, Tim and I were cooking dinner and the kids were actually playing together, not fighting, not crying, but actually laughing and playing. The sarcastic side of me stated that we should call all the relatives to let them listen. To see fresh that we are doing the right thing and admist all the craziness we have put them thru, they are Happy. It is a refreshing feeling.

Other than that.. Not much has changed.. Tim is still looking for a J-O-B, hopefully that wont be the case here in a few days. Hes got a few Union jobs that are closing this week, so hopefully, he should hear something. Hes had alot of interviews this past week and a half, so something has got to come out of it.. Right??

So that is what Im having.. a moment where Ive realized that Ive said or done something stupid.. yes, I said "Stupid". Is that a hard thing to admit? Actually no. Suprisingly, its not.. how do I take back the things that Ive said? Is that necessary? Im not sure.. somethings need to be said.. and at the time I thought it was right... Looking back, I feel like a heel. Because I realize that even tho I thought it was right..It doesnt matter... So I apologized. I know that wont change things.. but at least it makes enough sense in my head to leave well enough alone.

So Yesterday wasValentines Day

WELL.. .my good friend Laura has been planning on getting Married on Valentines Day for about a month now.. When It was Blizzarding, I was dumbfounded when she decided they were STILL going to do it.. I recieved a phone call at around 4ish, asking if they picked me up if I would take some pictures.. as much as I wanted to say no.. I couldn't. So They picked me up at 730pm and we drove in the blizzard 45 minutes.. so they could get married!! Crazy,Yes! Fun.. Absolutely! I will post some more pics later ;)

Definately NOT as young as I used to be.. but nevertheless, there will come a time I am sure when I wont think sliding is fun anymore. We got about 4 inches of snow Friday evening. YEAH!! Saturday, we bundled the kids up and attempted to go sliding. Due to the Wetness of the snow, sliding wasnt so great.. but My nephew, Gabe got his first snow play,so it was worth getting out there. I did take some pics ;)

Yesterday tho.. the snow was dryer and we did go sliding. Tim found an old runner sled in the barn. Talk about bringing the kid out in you.. he was so funny. He took that sled and rode it down our road ( which is about a 3/4mi. hill) suprisingly enough, he didnt crash, and he made it to the bottom of the hill.
Its fun to watch him get so excited about the snow. He didnt grow up around it.. so it is cute.

So.. things are finally getting to normal.. I think. Tim and I decided that when he got out of the Military, that I would have to get a job. So, I did. I am working for the Eagle Times Newspaper. I am the Legal Ad Representative, for now.. I am really hoping to start doing some Freelance work soon. I just have to get up enough courage to speak to the right person.

Other than that.. not too much else is happening. the kids seem to be adjusting ok. we are breaking them in slowly. Tim has been home with them for the last week, but as soon as he starts work, that will change.

Good things come to those who wait. Tim has been put on hold for the Police dept for a few weeks.. hopefully he will be able to take his polygraph in the next 2 weeks. He is totally over antsy about not working.

We are supposed to get some snow this weekend.. I hope we get nailed. Seriously, I just want 1 good snow storm this Winter ;)

Im going to try to post some pics this afternoon.. so thats all for now ;)

Well.. I am trying to upload some pics.. Blogger has been acting wonky lately.. so we shall see if it works..

Update on us.. we are OUTTA HERE on the 10th!! Headed to NH.. but making a few stops in between. Have to stop in Jacksonville, FL to see my Uncle Bob since we are leaving, and they just got down here for the Winter. Plus, I want to get some beach pics of my kids..

Hoping to catch up with Ms. Bonni.. to have lunch or dinner or something.. then we are headed to Frederick, MD to stay for a day or 2. Going to visit some of my very best friends and my Aunt and Uncle.. it will be a good break for the kids too.. Seriously, If Jacob new my Mom better.. I would fly him up there and then fly back to drive up with Tim. He does NOT like to ride in the car. It is going to be interesting!

Well.. so far, its not lookin' good for the pics... dont know why this thing is acting so Wonky.. *sigh*

So with the time change, today has seemed to DRAG on.. Ugh, why is that??
The kids are getting excited about Halloween.. Natalie is at the perfect age to "Get" it.. and she is STOKED about getting "candy presents". She tried on her little fairy costume today.. and was twirling around in it.. so cute!
Wyatt wants me to take him to the Haunted House.. he keeps telling me that its not real Mom, they are just people and he wont be scared.. but I do think he will be scared.. Decisions..

as a assistant photographer.. and yes, bears I know, but its the principal of the matter, and I have to start somewhere.. I do not know how much the salary is.. but there are benefits and 401k so that doesnt so much concern me.. call me crazy, but its the experience I want.. this is a pretty reputable company, so it has to be semi decent..
SOO... WISH ME LUCK, Will Ya.. I really want this job! Even tho, it is is VT.. but a few of the federal Jobs that Tim applied for are in Burlington.. so it would work just fine... however, we would be almost 2 hours North of my parents.. which is A OK with me.. but they might not think so.. anyways.. Im really praying about this one. Can you tell I am a "little" excited ;)

As far as the home front.. Life is good.. the kids are starting to get a little sad because they have to leave their friends... yikes, Natalie has been asking for a Sister.. bless her little heart.. she really is going to miss the neighbor girls when we move..
So planning a Birthday party for her and a Going Away at the same time.. that way Wyatt wont feel left out.. and he can have his friends from school over before we leave.

So... whats going on?? Well..... not a lot really.. kindof at an Impass right now. Talked to a few good friends today. it is nice to catch up.. but at the same time sad.

Why is it that when I hear something I am wanting to hear... it goes from being a good thing, to depressing in a matter of minutes.. My Emotions are screwy these days.. and I hate it. Other than that.. Life is good ;)

Wyatt is going on a Field trip tomorrow to the fire station.. Yes, he is STOKED!!
Natalie has discovered Bubble Gum.. and wants to chew it CONSTANTLY ;) at least she doesnt swallow it..
Jakey well.. hes just the CUTEST little kid.. but this separation anxiety is wearing thin on me.. I cant turn my back on him without the tears flowing... lol..
Migraine central today.. so not much out of me.. I did manage to scrap tonight.. miracle, I know.. and if all goes well, I plan on scrapping a bit in the morning.. Nat has a playdate at the neighbors.. so Ill have a little bit of free time..

Lets Talk about Music..

ok.. so I was reading Lauras blog.. and Im officially "tagged" and now so are you.. so when you are done reading this, head over to your blog and list the 7 songs that are in your head or whatever right now..

The Power of Music is really getting to me these days... Growing up, my Dad used to drill into our heads to "sensor" what we listened to as it can affect the way you think and feel. Yes, he was refering to "Secular" music and how it can illusion your mind into thinking that certain things are ok. Well, Yes, I respected him to a point, but for the most part I never really got it until recently.

There are certain songs that I "LOVE" but for certain reasons I cant allow myself to listen to.. Why? well, they remind me of someone that I shouldnt be thinking about. Yes, I said that. Someone from my past, that came into my present, who I had to send back into my past.
So not helping, I hear this song called "lips of Angel" by Hinder.. which totally takes my thoughts where they need not be.. *sigh*

One of the hardest things I have ever had to do.. and It sucks. Anyways, so as to not torture myself anymore, I have been trying to "sensor" what I listen to..

So, have I shocked you yet?? Yes, I am usually a pretty private person. Why? honestly, because I have trust issues. Yes, I do. Ive learned not to tell anyone anything that you do not want repeated, why? because usually no matter if there was a "promise" made it still gets repeated.. there are the exceptions.. DH and my SIL..
they are the 2 that I can tell things to, and If I ask them not to be repeated, I know it wont be.. ok.. well, I just went from being in a semi good mood to a crappy one, so I am done writing....

Ive been in a grumpy mood for the last few days.. so trying not to say too much, for fear of snapping at someone ;)

Ive been applying for jobs like crazy the last few days.. and as much as my parents are hoping we move to NH.. all of the jobs I applied to are an hour away and a few are in different states..

Tim has his "TAP" workshop this week.. Transition Assistance Program... yada yada.. Thursday they are having Employers meet them.. so that is a good thing right?? LOL. Well, we shall see.

I really dont want to stay in Tampa, but secretly am hoping that he does get a good Federal Job out of this.. that would be ideal.

The thing about moving to NH is its So SMALL the job market is TINY comparatively speaking.

Other than that.. Ive been packing some stuff, organizing some more, getting ready to list some stuff on Ebay.. which Ive never done.. but Tim does it all the time.. it is crazy what some people will buy;) One Mans Trash.. lol.

Wyatt wrote his first and last name today.. along with most of the numbers 1-20. he loves to write all the time now;)
Little Sis- well, she is 2. and I have to keep reminding myself of that... I feel bad for her.. I tell the kids to clean up, and SHE does most of the work, and so they wont get into trouble she will pick up after Wyatt.. WELL, I stopped that today. Totally not fair..
DH's answer to this, was "Well, she has to get used to it, she will be picking up after her own husband one day" *sigh, men... he was totally joking.. but still.
Jakers- this kid is a riot! He has a new game.. he chases Tims Leg/tattoo.. he will run up to it.. swat at it and turn and waddle as fast as he can in hopes of Tim chasing him.. it is adorable!
He has dont leave my sight Mama thing going on right now... Love it, but frustrating at times too.

What else is new? Wyatt can officially write his name ;) Totally cool! He really is so proud... he comes home from Pre K everyday asking if he can do his "homework"

Natalie- she is so into "pretending" these days! Love having tea parties with her.. she is a riot! I love watching her gather all her "friends" and place them where she wants.. then she has to find them a plate, and a snack.. its adorable!

Jakers had some kindof attack of some red spots this weekend.. thought it may be Chicken pox.. but I do believe it was hives.. as to what he is allergic too.. I have it narrowed down.. but am not for certain.. and Im not about to feed him what I think it is to see.. so.. He looks much better now.. and even tho the 'rash' didnt seem to bother him.. he looked horrible :( which in turn made me feel horrible for him ;( On a positive note! he is cheery! Hes into making funky sounds now.. and frequently laughs at himself.. CUTE!!

Tim got his CDL ( class B) but he didnt have to do anything for it.. Which is funny, because I guess that would mean I could have one too.. since I learned and drove all the big clunkers when I was in the AF.. It is funny to think that I learned how to drive a Standard on a 5 ton... and almost backed into the Senior's Van ( that wouldnt of been good)

Tims gotten a few responses to job applications.. and is filling them out daily now.. the sucky thing about wanting to be a cop, is its a process.. and usually begins with a test,then an interview.. background ck.. yada, yada, so its not like he just applies and gets hired.. sucky when we really need to be There for all of that.

Other than that.. there is the big anniversary crop going on over at Scrapaddict

Omgoodness, she really is a little "princess" we went to the mall last night.. something we rarely do.. Natalie was in HOG Heaven when we went into Girls Sections of the few stores we went to.. She was really wanting Every single shoe they had..until she noticed the tights.. this girl would wear Tights everyday of the week if I would let her ;) she saw this hat and HAD to have it.. and yes, I let her ;)

she was so funny.. she woke up this morning and asked if we could go back to the Mall today..

so she asked me to take a picture this morning.. for GRANDPA.. who can say no to that?

Yep. Jacobs "first" word, other than Mama,Dada,Wy Wy, Na Na, Baba and Baby.. LOL.. He is so cute.. the kids had Waffles for lunch (per Natalies request) so I was asking Jakers if he wanted some waffles and he said "waffle" LOL.. and then everytime I said the word after that he would laugh.. gosh, I cant believe he is growing up so fast.

He is so funny. If you ask him for a kiss.. he looks at you and then tries to slobber your face off.. but he does give kisses ;) I have a few pics. I will post them later.

Not too much going on around here this weekend.. Wyatt has a little cold.. I think we are all getting it a bit.. *sigh.. Im hoping to scrap a bit.

More Wedding stuff..

Little bout the wedding.. So what started out as a crazy day, end up great.. TIm and I had to race to the Camera store to buy a new lens for my camera.. note to self.. dont always trust auctions on Ebay.. *sigh..23 days later, I still have not gotten the lens that I had won and purchased.. Lesson Learned.. All in all..that Was a good thing.. because it was So DARK in the Church and the gloomy rain didnt help the light situation at all.. so the lens that I got.. is designed for Low Light situations..ugh. still frustrating tho..
So Tim was driving all of 10 mph on the Freeway.. we had a horrid rainstorm.. and couldnt see 5 ft in front of us.. yeah. not too fun. Made it early still, not by much..
anyways, the bride and groom were very blaise about the whole picture process.. they really couldve cared less about me taking pics.. lol.. but they did pose a bit for me.. most of the ceremony shots came out way too dark..and I was expecting they would. But the Bride and Groom.. didnt want to go redo them after the ceremony.. so we just to some mock shots outside.. which is ok too..
Overall, I got some decent stuff.. not the best, but not horrible either.. and yes, I Learned TONS on what to do next time..
by the time we got to their house for the reception the rain had stopped;)
Anyways, they havent seen these yet.. Rebel is coming to pick them up on Friday.. and I still have 2 CF cards to sort thru.. Im hoping they will be pleased..

not too much new going on around here..Im starting to pack up some stuff.. yeah, I dont have to.. but there are certain things that I like to pack myself..if they get broken, then at least I can be mad at myself.. LOL.

So I shot my first wedding this past Friday.. Boy, Did I learn ALOT of what not to do.. lol. it was a very casual wedding.. thank goodness. Overall tho, I had a really fun time... and for future reference.. the next one I do.. I wont be the only shooter;)

yes.. so its true, in a few short months we will be moving.. Ive been talking to a realtor, trying to get the process started so that we may be able to buy a house when its time for that... so lets pray that things go Semi Smoothly.

So, Tim got sent back to flight.. his recert for his dog was up.. so instead of recerting him for a month, they gave his dog to another Handler thats been having training problems to try to help him out.. and sent Tim back to Flight.. He is sad, Naturally, but at the same time.. it will be more beneficial as far as outprocessing stuff.. He came home about in tears tho.. I promised him that as soon as we get moved into a house and settled, we would get a dog.

Here comes the tricky part.. finding a house that has Everything that I want.. that we can afford.. LOL. . I found one, that looks great from the pics.. but my Dad told me that it has been sold at least 3 times in the last 5 years... to me thats not a promising sign.

Looks like we will be heading out of FL the end of OCT. the less driving we have to do in potentially bad weather.. the better off we will be..

Ive been going thru stuff and getting rid of "junk". I guess its a good thing we move all the darn time.. the less stuff we have collected up... right?
I do need to go shopping for the kids..they will all need some warmer clothing.. Nat and I need Winter Jackets..
Speaking of Shopping.. Wyatts feet grow like crazy.. He just got a new pair of shoes like 2 months ago, and he has already grown out of them.. crazy!

Wyatt started Pre K on Monday! hes been LOVING it.. and just as Wound as ever.. Yesterday, was a fantastic day! we had a Wic appt at 245 in the afternoon.. right during the kids usual nap time.. you can bet it wasnt so fun. needless to say, Wyatt crashed at around 5pm and slept all night long.. the rest of us were asleep by 8 last night..

its so funny to me that Natalie weighs 4.5 more than Jacob.. she is tall and SKINNY! but that is how all my family is.. I just find it humerous..
anyways, gotta run. the baby just woke up, and is NOT happy.

Ugh.. gotta love Military life.

We've been living in base housing here in FL for almost a year.. . and now all of the sudden... we have the housing office knocking on all of our doors (7 plex apartment buildings..) informing us that we need to start maintaining our yards better than we have been.. Why? Because we have a Major that lives in the next house over doesnt like looking at kids toys.. she doesnt have children.
SO she complained to the housing office.. about us never mowing ( we havent had too.. Chugach (maintance) has been doing it for a few months, I wasnt going to tell them to stop, so I could mow..LOL.)

Well, now thats changed and we have a mowing schedule.. yada yada.. not a big deal..

What Irks me is that because the *major* doesnt like looking at our kids toys (bikes and the play houses* housing told us they wanted us to store them in our Garages.. Which are not attached to the houses and are in a totally different area. this is ridiculous.. its not like we all have a bunch of toys strewn all over the place.. but realistically there are 16+ kids that live in this building.. so yeah.. there are going to be toys,bikes,scooters,balls, the big houses.. etc. and yes, they do play during the day.. but the stuff is picked up at the end of the day..
So.. what to do about it...pray that Mrs. Major finds a hobby besides gardening.. sorry, but for those of you that dont know... Military housing.. whatever you do cosmetically inside and out (ie paint, plant flowers) you return it to how it was when you moved in.. so yeah, Im not much of a gardener these days..
So we did some trimming of the bushes and edging.. and that is that. No One took their bikes to their garages.. they are all still on the bike rack.. gotta love it.
anyways... Im ranting.. this shouldnt even be an issue. I dont understand why if A) she had a problem with the toys..she waited so long to say something?? she's been living here at least 6 months. B) why couldnt she knock on one of the 6 doors that people live in and say something to one of us, instead of going right to the housing office??
Anyways.. she was so insistent that the housing ladies were going to come back today at 3:00 to ck the yard again... lol, they never showed up.
and with that.. I keep telling myself, 3 more Months ;)

We've been stationed at 5 different bases.. and this by far has been the Worst...

Who knows.. and its been a pretty blaise day. The waters been out and didnt come back on until around 5ish.. Ive had a headache all day today.. so not much accomplished outta me today.
Not too much new around here.. been trying to stay sane.. boy will I be glad when Wyatt starts Pre K next week.. I love my kids.. but Im looking forward to 3 hrs of NO Fighting, screaming, crying ;) Maybe, Ill actually be able to scrap a bit more:)

so the reality of little ol me going to Miss F's(CHA) is starting to set in.. and its a pretty overwelming feeling. I really have No clue as to what to expect, other than CHAOS.. LOL. I am really looking forward to it tho.. and 5 days away from the clan, much needed time away ;)

School has started once again. I have to rearrange my schedule... Talk about a PITA.. ive had this semester.. and its just started! Anyways. Right now Im scheduled to take Intro to computers ( which I plan on testing out of) Photoshop 2( pretty easy) and Commercial/Advertising Photography ( Ha. I met my teacher last night.. and was told that I would fail due to lack of Knowledge. its a 5th Semester class.. and Im in my 3rd. so Switching. hoping to switch my schedule back to portait, Event and Wedding, and photoshop. but depends on how full the classes are.. I told ya, it was a PITA!

anyways! not much too exciting going on around here. plan to head to the pool after the kids wake up from their nap.. altho, it looks like its going to rain.

We got a pretty heavy rainstorm yesterday. as I was driving cautiously to school (traffic was HORRID) I am in the middle of changing lanes when I hear this LOUD Scream.. yeah, I almost peed my pants. These two immature Male figures driving a security truck were being dumb.. yes, I said dumb.. Needless to say I gave them a Not so nice Gesture.. just to hear them say they were flirting with me.. um, yeah, thats a way to get a girls attention.. Not.

just another day... took the kids to the beach this evening to look for turtles. We saw a little( as in little for a sea turtle) sea turtle in the BX parking lot.. there was no water around.. we didnt know what to do with it.. so Tim dumped some water on it.. and we let it be.. it was gone when we came out. I decided to drive out to the beach just to chill out for a bit.. Wish I wouldve had my camera.. but alas, I didnt.. Jacob sat in one spot the whole time we were there.. this boy got quite a few mouth fulls of sand.. Ick..

I Finally got an important email sent to my school.. 3rd attempt. I dont normally use Outlook Express... guess there is a reason for that. somehow I mangaged to delete the first two. Yes, the lightbulb came on and the 3rd time I wrote it out as a word doc.. and copied it from that..

Wyatt and Natalie found my hiding spot with Jacobs gifts from my MIL.. needless to say, they opened them for him. and here is where I start complaining a bit.. dont get me wrong.. I LOVE my MIL and she has good intentions, but she buys the kids clothes that are way too big for them (Usually one or 2 sizes too big) Rae warned me.. and I still cant say anything to her.. i guess its a good thing we live in florida ;)

something that I try to possess, but lack a lot of.. and it is reflecting on my children.. I think. Tim got a second job, after we decided that I really wasnt making money at the arts and crafts center.. as much as I enjoyed it.. it just wasnt cost effective... ie, i was paying what I was making in childcare.. so Tim got a job.. at the Commissary, bagging groceries.. his income is in tips only.. and it is insane that he averages bwtween $10-13 an hour to bag peoples groceries.. but, we are doing this in hopes of being able to get out in November..

Ive been going nuts...because that means he is gone ALL day.. and the kids and I are getting bored.. THANK goodness I am getting Jeffrey and Emily this weekend.. The kids will be entertained.. and I wont be so apprehensive about going places with just the 3 of them..

My kids are good kids.. its just they are young.. For example, I took All 3 of them grocery shopping yesterday, which I rarely do.. Its usually just one or 2.. and they were little angels UNTIL we got to the ck out.. Too much time standing still... Wyatt wanting to help. Natalie wanting to be held... me trying to distract them by giving them some money to pay the cashier..Jacob just sitting there looking at us like we are all crazy.. we survived ;) Needless to say, I will be happy to have the distraction of my cousins here ;)
Little Dude is turning the Big "ONE" on Monday. we are having his party on Sunday.. He is starting to talk more and more.. Yesterday I took out carrots and asked him if he wanted them to eat.. he got all excited and said "yeah"

Thank God for the rain.. we sure do need it.. Today is the first day in Months that I dont have the air conditioner running. The kids are all dressed warmer too.. Jacob makes one cute cuddly baby.. Especially in his snuggly pjs ;)

I think today Im feeling better, so far.. and I pray it stays that way.. I need to clean. and I desperately want to scrap! I have started my super cool Project, and want to finish it. The Church Dilemma is solved.. hopefully.. Ive been struggling with going mainly because Tim works most Sundays due to his job.. So We've decided as informal as this may seem, we are going to start going Sunday Evenings as a family. That we can do. Its a start... I really want to get the kids into Rainbows, since I know I enjoyed it growing up.. I know they will. They LOVE going to Church and learning about Jesus... Just an FYI here.. just because I havent been going, does not mean that I havent been teaching my children. My Faith is very important to me.. Just havent been going since Tim was in Germany.. The kids were having a hard time with him gone.. and i just sat in the Nursery with them the whole time.. so we stopped going.
Guilty, Yes.. I feel irresponsible. but I am dealing with it.
Other than that.. Time to register for next semester.. Monday ;) Semester doesnt actually start until July 10th.. and I cant wait to go back..

My Splurges..

This is a hard question for me to answer.... We have a pretty tight budget.. and the only thing I Really do splurge on is my Scrapbooking stuff..

Other than that a few times a year, I do treat myself to a haircut,Pedicure and Eye waxing.. but Im cheap.. and go to the Beauty School as its WAY LESS Expensive.

I guess I would also have to say my trips here and there.. I LOVE to travel.. and while Im usually going to see friends and family. that is A ok with me. so going to F's for CHA is a big Splurge.. considering DH will have all 3 kids for 5 days!!

and for the first time ever.. this past tax season, I went out and bought some Clinique make up and facial cleaning stuff.. spendy for me.. but it goes along way.. and I havent put a dent in it really.. there you have it ;)

1. I am a Clogger.. well for the last few years in the privacy of my own home.. but growing up I was a Clogger in 4H and we used to dance at Demos, fairs, parades and stuff..

When I was in Korea, I was asked to teach some Koreans how to Clog, however, due to the Language barrier.. I couldn t do it ;).

I do clog around the house a little, and the kids LOVE it.. but I am SO not in shape anymore.. LOL

2. I was hit by a car when I was 8. Fractured my skull. I dont remember too much about it.. other than I had a Permanent Headache for quite a LONG time.. and I missed school for a while.

3. I miss going to church. My Father is a Pastor. and I grew up going to church ALL the time.. however, with Tim working most Sundays, I dont go. Its not that I dont want to.. A) Im really shy.. and have a hard time knowing what to say to people. B) taking 3 kids to church by myself is really hard for me to do... anyways.. I plan on going even if it is hard and by myself.. I miss it.

What is it about these Eyes?? is it the contrast between his hair and his eyes?? I dont know, but they are GORGEOUS.. and he is definately a Gorgeous Baby ;) You cant help but want to hug him and squeeze him ;)

I started my Portraiture Class on Monday. the few things we learned included Compostition, Using the rule of 3rds and Focusing your camera on the closest Eye to the Camera, while trying to make the persons eyes look Alive.. the other thing Bruce told us to try to catch the Catchlight at either the 11 oclock position or 1 oclock position.. so I was practicing today, which is hard to do with a 2 year old.. LOL.. the other pic of Jakey is just a funny one ;)

so, I didnt get either of the catchlights at the 11 oclock position.. Jakeys are almost at the 1 oclock.. which is ok.. guess I need more practice.. LOL

WHY OH WHY.. Cant life be as simple as this?? Do you remember how carefree you were as a child?? How a few years and alot of growing up can tarnish these vivid moments.

Yep, Im having a bad day.. lately it seems more bad days than good. But Im trying to focus on the positive things ;) I try so hard to balance things, and yet today, at the END of the Day, I still feel inadequate. The kids are Happy ;) My house is a Mess ( whats new) Tims Stressing = which makes me stress even more.. and Im Grumpy!

Positive Notes: Day number 2 that I have Cut glass at work and have NOT cut myself in the process ;) :)
I lightened my load today a little bit.. I decided to step down from Scrapzones DT. Now that the site is Live, I Know that I wont be able to keep up as I should, which in turn makes me feel TONS more Guilty..
I finished my Altered Project for Scrapaddict and actually Scrapped a Layout ;0.. I know right ;)
Tim and Wyatt are going on Hiatus tomorrow, so hoping to get TONS of Scrapping done while they are gone. :)

Heres my Girl! Isnt she sweet.. One would think that she wouldnt want to play with this Dirty Baby, However, this Baby is her Current Favorite! She carries this Baby and her Blankie EVERYWHERE!! To the point where the Blankie is starting to tear unmendably and her baby stays clean for minutes at a time ;)

Isnt this Pretty?? I found this one tonight, while I was trying to delete the TONS of Photos that Ive stored on this computer, most of which were past assignments and the not so good ones... Why is it, that I must Take So many pictures of the same thing?? Different Angles, maybe? , trying to get that "Perfect Shot", whatever that may be??
I stood in 30 degree weather(yes, warm for most ppl this time of year, but we live in FL) for about at least an hour taking pictures of Gravestones, berries, pinecones.. the list goes on.. LOL. and for the most part they all came out great. but this one is my new favorite today! So Thanks Aunt San San and Auntie Sue for standing out in the cold with me ;)
this is straight off of the camera..did run an unsharp mask filter on it.. but I do that to All my pictures;)

It amazes me that as my other 2 were Babies, I was Always pushing them to excel as fast as they could.. With Jacob its different. Maybe because I know he is my Last.. but I want to cherish Every ounce of babiness I can get outta him...

Hello!! So this is Me.. well the side of me that most people never see.. Miss Sandra, aka.. ScrapFreak ;) has been posting Book of Me Photo challenges once a week on www.scrapaddict.com.. this week was Glam it up week, using a fan.. Well this is my faint attempt.. LOL..

So I am going to attempt to start a Photo blog, which may prove to be VERY Challenging. But will have to do until I can Pay someone to make me a website. Thats all for now. It is Late, and the clocks going an hour ahead tonight ;)
